No, it doesn’t mean I’m chugging my drinks quickly! After much travel and poor diet, I will be attempting a liquid fast for a few days. The purpose:
- Get OUT of the recent habit of eating crap and large portions
- Drop a couple of excess pounds
I’m compelled to include “cleanse” as an objective but most of the cleanse plans require only fresh fruits and veggies to be self-juiced. I have neither a juicer nor a blender and I’m questioning my ability to give up caffeine. We’ll see.
I’ve also read that fatigue can be a side effect of a liquid fast, which makes sense, but I’m hoping that my productivity won’t be reduced. I saw that one participant in a liquid fast chose to include broths, tomato soup, and liquid yogurt which I may try. The length of time for my endeavor is yet to be determined.
